The hard part isn't the work. It's never having done it before.
A new pool, your own build, or a twenty-year pool that needs decisions. You hire everyone and you hold every contract. We tell you what is coming, in what order, and what is due.
The first visit costs nothing. We look at the job, then we quote.
Which one are you
Three ways people end up needing this.
Want the detail first? Read how it works on a new pool or what an older pool needs.
What we actually do
We say what is coming, in what order, what is due, and who is on the hook.
That is the whole of it. You still ring the trades, sign the contracts and pay the invoices, because that is what keeps the job yours. What changes is that somebody in the yard has done this before.
How it starts
The visit is free. Then you get a number.
- 01We come and look.At your place, at no cost to you. We walk the job, ask the questions nobody has asked you yet, and tell you what we think you are in for.
- 02We quote.Off what we saw at your place, not off a price list. You see the hours before you spend anything, and you are free to walk away at that point owing nothing.
- 03You buy a block of hours.Five hours is the minimum: discovery, and the whole thing written down. That written work is what you are paying for, and it is yours to keep whatever you do next. The rate is on the What it costs page.
Why independent matters
Every contract stays yours.
We are paid by you and by nobody else. No commission from a builder, a fencer, an equipment supplier or an inspector, so there is nothing in it for us in steering you anywhere. You hire everyone, you pay everyone, and if you want a different fencer than the one we mention, that costs you nothing but a phone call.
And what we never do
- Engage or pay a trade, an inspector or a surveyor.
- Hold a trade contract, or quote a combined price.
- Take a commission from anyone but the owner.
- Issue a compliance certificate, or write a sentence that reads as issuing one.
- Arrange, organise, handle, coordinate, manage or supervise.
- Tell a new pool owner to book the first barrier inspector.
- Quote a pool value uplift figure.

"It’s been a real pleasure working with the both of you, your promptness and support has made a real difference and been a game changer"
